Only three Universal hotels include Express Unlimited.
Loews Royal Pacific Resort, Hard Rock Hotel and Loews Portofino Bay Hotel. The benefit is for registered room guests at participating rides in Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure.
One night covers check-in and checkout days. Each guest needs valid park admission and a room key.

What's included—and what isn't
| Question | Quick answer |
|---|---|
| Which parks? | Universal Studios Florida + Islands of Adventure, participating attractions only. |
| Which days? | From room-key issue on check-in day through park close on checkout day. |
| Epic or Volcano Bay? | No. Epic Express is a separate purchase. |
| Helios or Sapphire Falls? | Neither includes Express Unlimited. |
| Park tickets included? | No. Buy valid admission separately. Separately ticketed events are excluded. |
| Can everyone use one key? | No. Register each guest and follow the room's occupancy limit. |
Is Universal Express worth it?
Consider it when time is short and your must-ride list is long. Skip it when the price outweighs the shorter waits your group will actually use.
More likely to be worth it
- One or two busy park days
- Several participating rides are must-dos
- A hotel upgrade costs less than separate Express
More likely to skip
- Several flexible park days
- Few participating rides on your list
- Comfortable with standby queues and early starts
This is a planning judgment, not a guaranteed wait-time saving. Check ride coverage and the exact product for your date.
Hotel or paid Express? Compare this.
Price standalone Express for the same riders, dates and parks. Compare that with the extra hotel cost, including tax, fees, parking differences and any new pass.
Illustrative example · not a current quote
Four people, two Express days
- Express at an assumed $150 per person/day
- $1,200
- Assumed extra cost of an eligible hotel stay, all in
- $700
- Lower cost with the hotel in this example
- $500
Only compare equivalent Express coverage. If you replace your original hotel, subtract its avoidable cost. If you keep it, count the whole overlapping room cost.
Fruglar checks current ticket and hotel prices when available. Express uses a clearly labeled planning estimate, so confirm the current product and price before buying.
Express Now vs. Express vs. Express Unlimited
| Option | What it covers | How to buy |
|---|---|---|
| Express Now | One selected participating attraction during a specific time window. Limited, day-of availability at USF, Islands of Adventure and Epic Universe. | Only inside a participating park in the Universal Orlando app, with location services enabled. |
| Express | One Express-queue use at each participating attraction for the purchased park and date. Product choices can include USF, Islands of Adventure, Epic Universe or Volcano Bay. | Before or on the day of the visit, subject to availability. |
| Express Unlimited | Repeat Express-queue use at participating attractions in USF and Islands of Adventure. This is the eligible-hotel benefit. | Buy separately or receive it with a registered stay at Royal Pacific, Hard Rock or Portofino Bay. |
All options require separate valid admission. Coverage, capacity and participating attractions can change. Early Park Admission is a different benefit.
Keeping your value hotel?
Add one real, overlapping night at an eligible Express hotel for two consecutive USF/IOA days. Everyone using Express must be registered, check in and receive a room key.
Include the entire extra room, tax and any required pass purchase. Keeping the car at your main hotel and using included transport avoids a second hotel parking charge.

Quick answers
Is the Universal Orlando Express Pass worth it?
It depends on your date, party size, priorities and the live price. Compare the cost of the correct park-specific Express product with the incremental cost of an eligible Premier hotel and decide how much shorter waits are worth to your group.
What is the difference between Universal Express and Universal Express Unlimited?
Universal Express provides one Express-queue entry per participating attraction on the selected day. Universal Express Unlimited allows repeat Express-queue use at participating attractions. Both require separate valid park admission and have product-specific restrictions.
Which Universal Orlando hotels include Express Unlimited?
Loews Royal Pacific Resort, Hard Rock Hotel and Loews Portofino Bay Hotel include Universal Express Unlimited for registered room guests at participating attractions in Universal Studios Florida and Universal Islands of Adventure.
Does Universal Helios Grand Hotel include Express Pass?
No. Helios Grand provides a dedicated entrance to Epic Universe for registered guests with valid admission, but it does not include Universal Express Unlimited. Epic Universe Express must be purchased separately.
Does Loews Sapphire Falls Resort include Express Pass?
No. Sapphire Falls includes Universal hotel benefits such as transportation and eligible Early Park Admission, but it does not include Universal Express Unlimited.
Does Premier hotel Express Unlimited work at Epic Universe or Volcano Bay?
No. The hotel-included benefit is for participating attractions at Universal Studios Florida and Universal Islands of Adventure. It is not valid at Universal Epic Universe or Universal Volcano Bay. Epic Universe requires its own eligible Express product.
How long does hotel-included Express Unlimited last?
For registered guests at an eligible hotel, the room key benefit is available from the time the key is issued on check-in day through theme-park close on checkout day, subject to valid admission, participating attractions and current terms.
