Some links on Fruglar are affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a commission — at no extra cost to you. We only recommend products and services we genuinely believe will save you money or improve your travel experience. Our editorial opinions are not influenced by compensation.

What Is an Affiliate Link?

An affiliate link is a specially tracked URL. When you click it and complete a qualifying action (such as booking a trip or applying for a credit card), the company pays Fruglar a referral commission. This is how many travel websites — including Fruglar — fund their free tools and content.

The price you pay is identical whether you use our affiliate link or go directly to the provider. You are not charged anything extra.

Our Affiliate Relationships

Fruglar currently participates in the following affiliate and referral programs:

Travel Bookings

  • Virgin Voyages — We are a CLIA-certified travel agent with direct partnership. We earn commission on cruise bookings made through our agent booking links.
  • Universal Orlando / NBCUniversal — We participate in the Universal Partner Program and may earn commission on ticket and package purchases.
  • Undercover Tourist — Affiliate program for discounted theme park tickets.
  • Priceline, Hotels.com, IHG / InterContinental — Hotel booking affiliate programs via Commission Junction (CJ Affiliate).
  • Travelex Insurance — Travel insurance affiliate via CJ Affiliate.
  • SeaWorld, CityPASS — Attraction ticket affiliates via CJ Affiliate.

Credit Cards & Financial Products

  • American Express Platinum Card — We may earn a referral bonus when you apply and are approved through our referral link.
  • Capital One Venture X — We may earn a referral bonus when you apply and are approved through our referral link.
  • Chase, Capital One, Amex, Citi (other products) — We are applying to card affiliate programs through Bankrate/RVMN and CardRatings. When approved, we will earn commission on approved applications.

Other Partners

  • Booking.com, Rentalcars.com — Car rental and hotel affiliate programs.

How We Identify Affiliate Links

Affiliate links on Fruglar appear as standard hyperlinks or buttons labeled "Book Now," "Apply Now," "Check Rates," or similar calls to action. Pages that contain significant affiliate content — particularly our Card Hacks page — carry a disclosure notice at the top of the page.

Our Editorial Independence

Compensation does not determine which products, destinations, or deals we feature or recommend. We feature deals we believe offer genuine value to travelers. We do not accept payment to write positive reviews or to feature products we wouldn't personally recommend. If that ever changes, we will say so explicitly.

Travel Agent Commission

As a CLIA-certified travel agent, Fruglar earns supplier commission on cruise and vacation package bookings made through our agent credentials. This is standard practice in the travel industry — suppliers pay agents a percentage of the booking value as a distribution fee. This commission is paid by the supplier, not by you. Booking through Fruglar does not cost more than booking directly.
