Virgin Voyages refreshed its public casino and Sea Roller Rewards page on September 10. The updated terms move the status language forward one year: assigned status now remains through April 30, 2027, and the overview says point balances started from zero on May 1, 2026.
What each published tier unlocks
Showstopper begins with point redemption toward Free Play. Star adds casino offers, a dedicated booking number, complimentary drinks while playing, and an annual cabin offer. Superstar adds waived cash-advance fees and $100 in Free Play per voyage. Idol raises that Free Play to $200 and adds Premium Wi-Fi plus a selected bottle of wine for dining. Legend raises the listed Free Play to $300 while keeping those higher-tier benefits.
Virgin says slot play earns one point per $5 wagered and video poker earns one point per $10 wagered. Table-game points depend on average bet, session or hands played, and game type. Casino-offer sailings have separate restrictions, including limits on combining Casino Loyalty benefits with Deep Blue Extras or Blue Extras.
One date conflict is still on the page
The September 10 overview uses the current May 1, 2026-to-April 30, 2027 cycle, but a lower earning-period bullet still prints May 1, 2025-April 30, 2026. Fruglar is treating the newly updated overview and annual May-to-April explanation as the current direction, while flagging the older bullet instead of guessing how Virgin will correct it.
If your tier, Free Play, annual cabin offer, or casino-rate booking depends on the cycle date, confirm it with Virgin's Casino Team before spending or changing a reservation. The public page also says competing casino offers are reviewed for eligibility; it does not promise a match or a particular benefit.
Virgin confirms the September 10 update date, tier thresholds, listed benefits, current status-through date, points-reset date, annual earning-cycle framework, and offer-review path. It does not explain the stale lower date bullet or guarantee that a submitted casino offer will qualify.
