Virgin Voyages published an official Redemption Spa Q&A on September 29. It is unusually useful because it gives the kind of practical onboard detail that does not always appear on the public spa page: current quoted thermal-suite prices, operating hours, booking timing, and which treatments can include thermal access.
The thermal suite goes beyond a sauna and steam room. Virgin's spa director lists heated marble, a salt room, a mud room with a complimentary clay mask, cold plunges, a room-temperature pool, a warm plunge, and a dry sauna.
The voyage-long pass is the convenience choice for repeat visits. Virgin says it permits unlimited entry while the spa is open, so a Sailor can stop in after a port day instead of sacrificing a full day ashore. The video does not publish the voyage-pass price, and Virgin says app pricing at the moment of booking is the amount that controls.
When to book
Virgin says sea-day passes can sell out, especially around noon and 2 p.m. Book early after embarkation if a peak sea-day slot matters. Port days are quieter and currently quoted $20 lower.
Treatments with thermal access
The official guide names the quartz-bed treatment, three-step reclamation treatment, and cryo tightening and firming treatment as options that include thermal-suite access before and after treatment.
Virgin says its Spin to Win promotion can award $40 off, $100 off, or a free thermal pass, and that app or spa-desk offers may appear during the voyage. Those are opportunities, not guaranteed savings. Check the Sailor App and ask Redemption Spa before booking.
