- Readers' Choice: Virgin Voyages is Condé Nast Traveler's No. 1 large cruise line in the 2026 U.S. awards.
- Three-time winner: Virgin says this is its third time taking the U.S. top spot, following wins listed for 2023 and 2024.
- Brilliant Lady: Condé Nast Traveler included Virgin's newest ship on its 2026 Hot List.
- Valiant Lady: The refreshed ship appears on the publication's 2026 Gold List.
Virgin Voyages published the new result on October 6 and added it to the 2026 section of its official awards page. Virgin describes the Readers' Choice Awards as a traveler vote and says the No. 1 large-cruise-line finish is its third U.S. win.
The same update highlights two ship-level honors. Brilliant Lady made Condé Nast Traveler's Hot List after joining the fleet, while Valiant Lady made the Gold List after its 2026 dry-dock refresh. Virgin points to Brilliant Lady's Los Angeles, Seattle, and winter Caribbean seasons and to Valiant Lady's new entertainment, Ariya restaurant, and San Juan winter sailings.
An award is useful evidence of broad traveler satisfaction, but it does not decide whether a specific voyage, cabin, or fare is the right value. Compare the itinerary and final total first; dining, Wi-Fi, essential drinks, group fitness, and entertainment inclusions matter more to the trip math than the badge alone.
The Ahoy article confirms the October 6 results, while Virgin's awards page places the Readers' Choice, Hot List, and Gold List honors in its 2026 record.
