Virgin Voyages' July 23 announcement calls this its biggest Mediterranean season yet: 41 sailings, including 17 new itineraries, split between eastern and western Mediterranean routes. The official live link currently returns all 41 departures across 31 selectable itinerary products.
Virgin highlights new port calls, overnight stays, one-way regional voyages, and longer Grand Journeys. The live board includes routes such as Barcelona-to-Athens, Athens-to-Barcelona, Rome-to-Athens, Greek Isles itineraries with Mykonos or Istanbul overnights, and western Mediterranean sailings with Ibiza overnights.
The launch credit is narrower than the itinerary announcement. Virgin's July 23 terms limit the $100 promotional Bar Tab to existing Sailing Club members who have completed at least one full-fare Virgin voyage. Eligible dates are Scarlet Lady departures from April 15 through October 15, 2028, and Valiant Lady departures from April 16 through July 2 and September 4 through October 22, 2028.
Eligible cabins are XL Sea Terrace and below on Base, Essential, or Premium fares; Lock It In cabins and charter voyages are excluded. Virgin says the member Bar Tab can combine with the 70% off second Sailor and balcony-upgrade offer, Pay In Full, My Next Virgin Voyage, Tour Operator, Wedding, and Groups programs. Reduced-rate programs, including First Mate rates, do not combine with it. The Fruglar move is to compare the full cabin total and flexibility before valuing the extra Bar Tab at face value.
