Virgin Voyages posted this official July 4th Sale on July 1. It is now archived context: Virgin refreshed the July Promotional Bar Tab terms on July 7, with the current window running through July 9, 2026. The credit amount still depends on voyage length and cabin category.
The biggest number is narrow. Panama Canal voyages can show $500 for Rockstar Quarters Suite Meta cabins or $250 for Sea Terrace Meta cabins. Ten-night-plus voyages can show $300 or $150, six-to-nine-night voyages can show $100 or $50, and four-to-five-night voyages can show $50 or $25.
The Fruglar read still holds: quote the Bar Tab cabin, the broader July 31 balcony-upgrade offer, and the current Sail & Save Lock It In board side by side. Bar Tab is real onboard value if the cabin you wanted is close on price. It is not cash in your pocket, and it does not rescue a weak fare.
Use credits and cash-back lanes first when they can cover the cruise cost. Preserve flexible points for higher-value redemptions, especially flights or clearly outsized hotel/free-night cases, unless your cruise cashout math is unusually strong.
