What Universal confirmed
Universal Orlando's live Mardi Gras page now lists the 2027 event from February 6 through March 27 at Universal Studios Florida. The page says the celebration is included with a valid theme-park ticket or Annual Pass, with Annual Pass blockout dates still applying.
The confirmed experience includes a Mardi Gras parade with floats inspired by New Orleans traditions, live concerts on select nights and food from around the world available for purchase. Universal also advertises event merchandise and street entertainment.
What is not announced yet
Universal has not posted the 2027 concert lineup or individual performance dates. It also has not published the parade-night calendar, food and drink menus, or event-specific operating hours.
The Mardi Gras Float Ride and Dine Experience remains on the official page, but Universal currently says to check back for details. The page does not provide 2027 prices or participating restaurant menus, so travelers should not treat prior-year pricing or dates as current.
How the dates affect trip planning
The announced window gives travelers eight weeks to build Mardi Gras into a regular Universal Studios Florida park day without buying separate event admission. If concerts matter most, wait for the performance calendar before locking nonrefundable travel around one night.
Annual Passholders should check their exact pass and visit date against Universal's current blockout calendar. Everyone else should compare the full trip price—not just the event itself—because park tickets, hotel rates and airfare can move independently across the February and March dates.

Fine print and verification

Float Ride and Dine requires separate same-day theme-park admission and has limited float capacity; current 2027 prices are not posted.
