Universal Orlando has shared exciting details about the upcoming Universal Kids Resort, set to open in 2026 in Frisco, Texas. This new resort is specifically designed for families with young children, featuring seven themed lands inspired by popular characters and stories.

Kids and their families can look forward to exploring areas based on beloved brands, including DreamWorks’ Shrek’s Swamp, Puss in Boots Del Mar, and Illumination’s Minions vs. Minions: Bello Bay. Other themed lands include Jurassic World Adventure Camp, DreamWorks’ TrollsFest, and Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob SquarePants Bikini Bottom.

Molly Murphy, President of Universal Creative, emphasized that Universal Kids Resort aims to ignite creativity and play among young guests, making it a perfect destination for families. The park will welcome visitors through the whimsical Isle of Curiosity, where kids can engage in interactive experiences, including meet and greets with characters like Gabby from DreamWorks’ Gabby’s Dollhouse.
